Finding Inspiration

For photo lovers, switching to a different setup is a big deal. I have used Fuji for a long time, but when it brown down suddenly, I knew it was time to look at other options. After much research, I have decided to buy my first Leica, a Q3. The camera really appeals to me and follows the idea of 'less but better', one camera one lens. Using the Q3 takes me back to the joy and magic I felt when I first got into photography.

This blog series indulges my creative impulses, serving as a personal outlet for my dual passions: photography and watches. It's a space where I can capture the subjects that intrigue me, offering a glimpse into my world and the things that inspire me.

For my first post, I am exploring South Melbourne, capturing its charm through my lens.

On my wrist today is the Rolex Submariner Date 126610LV. The green bezel really pops and adds vibrancy to an otherwise very monochromatic watch.

My wife wore her Datejust 36 with the fluted motif.

Juniper Cafe in Coventry St, South Melbourne.

There are many great homeware and furniture shops in that area.

Spotted - A nice DateJust fitted with the classic fluted and jubilee bracelet.

Watch out!

Lots of beautiful buildings.

And plenty of alleyways.
